By Rail

A local train service links Zvenigorod to Moscow (Belorusski rail station). The trains depart with interval of hour and half, and the journey takes approximately 80 minutes. The tickets should be bought at the station. From Zvenigorod railway station, take the local bus No.48 to the �Pansionat Zvenigorodsky of Russian Academy of Sciences�.

By Bus

A regular bus No.452 service links Zvenigorod to Moscow (Metro station �Kuntzevskaya�). The buses depart appproximately once an hour from 7.25 till 20.30, and the journey takes approximately one hour. The bus stop (not the terminal one!) is just opposite to the �Pansionat Zvenigorodsky of Russian Academy of Sciences�.

Connections at Sheremetyevo International Airport.

There is a regular bus service (approx. three times each hour) from Sheremetyevo airport to Moscow Metro Stations �Planernaya� (bus No.817) and �Rechnoy Vokzal� (bus No.851). The tickets can be bought in the bus, single fare is 10 roubles.
One trip by metro (any destination) costs 5 roubles.  

A taxi from Sheremetyevo Airport to Moscow city centre is about USD 60; to Zvenigorod � about USD 100.

Group Transportation from Sheremetyevo airport to the conference site: 

The Conference bus will be arranged on Saturday, June 29, at 17.30 hours. The bus will have a sign in the window indicating "XIIth International Conference on Surface Forces" for easy recognition. Upon arrival, the participants are kindly recommended to find the representative of the Organizing Committee (with similar sign) in the arrival hall of the airport. Our representatives will be on duty from 15.00 till 21.00.

Group Transportation from the Institute of Physical Chemistry  to the conference site:

Another Conference bus will be arranged on Saturday, June 29, at 17.00 hours, from the Institute of Physical Chemistry (Address: 31 Leninsky prospect, 5 minutes walk from Metro station �Leninsky prospect�) . The bus will have a sign in the window indicating "XIIth International Conference on Surface Forces" for easy recognition.
