MOSCOW INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS
Moscow has 3 International airports; all of them
are conveniently linked with the Moscow city by
the express trains ("Aeroexpress”,
http://aeroexpress.ru/en/ ), which deliver
you to Metro (underground) station in the
central part of Moscow. The tickets for
Aeroexpress trains can be purchased online at
the above website. No place reservation is
needed. Please print-out the E-ticket and have
it with you: you will need it to enter the train
and/or to exit to the city upon arrival to
Moscow railway terminal. You can also buy online
a combined Aeroexpress+Metro ticket. It may be
useful especially if you do not plan to have
Russian cash with you, since the Metro ticket
vending machines and cash desks mostly accept
cash only.
Geographically, Sheremetyevo airport is closer
to the Conference place (Verbilki village), but
there is no direct connection between the
airport terminal and the railway stations along
the way from Moscow to Verbilki. Thus it will be
the most reasonable to use the Aeroexpress train
to Moscow from any airport of arrival. The
Aeroexpress trains from Sheremetyevo airport
arrive to Belorusskaya Metro station, from
Domodedovo airport arrive to Paveletskaya Metro
station, and from Vnukovo airport to Kievskaya
Metro Station. All these stations are at the
Circle Line (“Kol’tsevayaliniya”, line #5,
marked with brown colour at the maps).
Metro is the fastest and most reliable transport
within the city. The actual map of Moscow Metro

SAVELOVSKII TRAIN STATION (MOSKVA SAVELOVSKAIA)
Savelovskii Train Station is located at
Savyolovskaya Metro station (Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya
line, #9, gray colour). From the Circle line,
change from Novoslobodskaya to Mendeleevskaya
station, and take one stop to the north
direction.The part of train timetable for the
afternoon of May 12 is presented below; for

http://pass.rzd.ru/main-pass/public/en .
Type MOSCOW and VERBILKI as departure and
arrival stations, select the date, uncheck the
box “Only with tickets” and press “TIMETABLE”
button to get it.
Unfortunately, suburban train tickets cannot be
purchased online. You will need to buy them at
cashier desks at the Savelovskii Train Station (Moskva

From the Savelovskii Train Station, take a
suburbain train to Verbilki village. At Verbilki
station it is 10-15 min walk (approx. 1km) to
the Conference hotel as indicated at the scheme
below.
CONFERENCE BUS at theFrumkin Institute of
Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry
The Conference bus from Moscow to Verbilki will
be organized on arrival day, May 12, at
15h30min, from the A.N. Frumkin Institute of
Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry (IPCE
RAS). The Institute is located at 10 min walk
from the Metro station Leninsky prospect (Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya
line #6, orange or dark-yellow colour). From the
Circle line, change at Oktyabrskaya station, and
take two stops to the south direction. Use the
exit next to rear-end car, and then follow the
way indicated on the map below; the recent photo
of Institute is also presented below.
